The Heyrovský Discussions aim to create a collaborative and welcoming atmosphere that brings together established experts, early career researchers, and students. This unique forum encourages participants to share their latest findings and insights in a relaxed and friendly setting, fostering meaningful scientific dialogue.

The 56th Heyrovský Discussions will focus on two-dimensional materials, covering experimental and theoretical results in the following topics:

  • near-field spectroscopy
  • optoelectronics
  • photonics
  • plasmonics
  • mechanical properties
  • magnetic properties
  • crystal structure and defects

    Abstract

    March 31, 2025, is the deadline for Abstracts in the electronic form. Abstracts of oral and poster presentations will be printed in the proceedings. Please use the template (DOWNLOAD HERE) for your abstract asit contains all the necessary formats and styles. The Abstract is to be submitted via email to hd2025@jh-inst.cas.cz.

    Mid End of May 2025 circular with detailed information and with the final program will be distributed to the registered participants.

    Both oral and poster contributions are welcome. The talks will be 20 minutes long, including discussion. Posters will be exhibited during the whole meeting in the foyer. Please, indicate your presentation type preference in the email alongside the Abstract. We encourage students and early career researchers to also apply for the oral presentation.
