Postdoctoral Researcher

A leading research institute in Prague, Czechia, named after Nobel laureate in Chemistry, J. Heyrovsky, is seeking Postdoctoral Researcher in the field of Development of nanostructured catalysts.

Type of contract: Temporary (1 year with the possibility of extending the employment contract)

Job description: 

We are seeking a candidate to join projects focused on:

i) developing porous oxide materials for application in catalysis;

ii) performing structural analyses of nanomaterials using advanced analytical methods;

iii) conducting catalytic tests for heterogeneously catalysed reactions.

 

Required Qualifications:

- PhD. degree: Chemistry or Physical Chemistry;

- Analysis of inorganic solids using XRD, FTIR, and UV-Vis-NIR spectroscopy; 

- Strong communication skills in English and basic communication in Czech are a requirement;

- Ability to work efficiently both as part of a team and independently.
