Petr Vítek awarded for one of the Best Presentations at the Student catalytic seminar

On Wednesday, January 28, 2026, the Student Catalytic Seminar took place at Masaryk University in Brno. Twenty one students from Czech Universities and from Czech Academy of Sciences participated in this seminar.

Our third-year bachelor’s student, Petr Vítek delivered an oral presentation titled: “Atomically Precise CuPd Pentamer Clusters for Catalytic Dehydrogenation of Cyclohexene“. His work was recognized as one of the three best presentations of the seminar.

This achievement underscores the high level of commitment and potential of early-career researchers at the J. Heyrovský Institute of Physical Chemistry.
