The particular task focuses on the fundamental reactions of molecules deposited on gold nanoparticles triggered by localized surface plasmons (e.g. 10.1063/5.0018784). The reactions will be studied on isolated molecules in the gas phase, clusters, and on DNA origami templates on the surface. The main techniques applied will be electron attachment spectroscopy and Raman spectroscopy. The candidate should have a PhD or at least 2 years of postgraduate research experience in plasmonics and Raman spectroscopy.
