Lab/data manager

Join our cutting-edge research team in Prague!

We are looking for a motivated lab/data manager to join our research group working on the physics and chemistry of 2D nanomaterials. The successful candidate will support the general research activities in our labs and aid in the implementation of data management processes. You will also be co-responsible for basic lab administration, health and safety protocols, purchasing chemicals/materials/equipment, and other administration.

You will have a degree in chemistry/materials science/physics or related fields and a relevant laboratory experience. Experience with administrative tasks in an academic environment is desirable. We expect our new colleague to be motivated to work in a research environment, be capable of independent thinking and have a can-do attitude. Very good oral and written communication in English is a must, basic (good knowledge) of Czech is a must (highly desirable).

You will be a part of an international team with a passion for science but also eager to enjoy shared activities outside of work.

This exciting opportunity will be available for three years with the potential of an extension; a part-time home office is possible. This position remains open until a suitable candidate is found.

Requirements:
You will have a master's degree in chemistry, physics, materials science, computer science, electrical engineering or related fields. You will have good experience in at least one of the following areas: general laboratory environment, data management, Raman spectroscopy, thin-layer deposition, electrochemistry,  clean room environment.
You will be well versed in a good laboratory practice and office software.
