Postdoctoral researcher in Computational Chemistry
The J. Heyrovsky Institute of Physical Chemistry offers a position in the scientific team of the Department of Computational Chemistry, focusing on modeling chemical reactivity in enzymes and their biomimetics and contributing to the development of new concepts in that field.

Job description
Reaserach Background: Experience with biomimetic models of bioinspired catalysis, specifically exploring the role of high-valent metal-oxo species in metalloenzymes, mechanistic pathways for small molecule activation and water oxidation, aiming to mimic the reactivity seen in these natural systems.
Molecule modelling software: GaussView, Chemcraft, Avagadro, Molden
Ab initio calculations using: Gaussian, ORCA scripting.
Required Qualifications
- PhD in Computational Chemistry
- Good communication skills in both written and spoken English
