Student - Computational Chemistry
We are seeking students for a grant project focused on studying the biocompatibility of implantable materials. The position involves the use of both experimental and computational techniques. Experimentally, it will combine fluorescence and surface science methods. Computationally, it will involve conducting classical molecular dynamics simulations of interfacial systems.
The applicant will work in the Department of Computational Chemistry in the group of Prof. Lukasz Cwiklik (https://www.jh-inst.cas.cz/~cwiklik/) in J. Heyrovsky Institute of Physical Chemistry, Prague, Czech Republic.
Why to join: J. Heyrovsky Institute of Physical Chemistry in Prague is a world-wide respected scientific institution with over two hundred scientists: ranging from promising young researchers to world-renowned experts. The performed basic and applied research mainly focuses on physical-chemical processes taking place in molecules and atoms, which are important for industrial catalysis, energy production and storage, biology as well as health care and the environment.
