Development of the structure and fabrication process of a nanostructured advanced methanation catalyst for power-to-gas technologies
The goal of the project is the development of the structure and production technology of a new generation of high-performance methanation catalyst for the process of transforming CO2 and green H2 into synthetic natural gas. Specifically, the goal of the project is the development of nanostructured metal-zeolitic catalysts for the methanation of CO2 at low temperatures providing a favorable thermodynamic equilibrium of the reaction and enabling high conversions with high selectivity to methane. Catalysts will be characterized by high stability of catalytic activity, easy regenerability and structural stability. The goal is to develop an economic process for the production of a catalyst that will surpass the catalysts available on the world market in terms of its main functional properties.
