Novel silicon anode materials for advanced Li-ion batteries
The aim of the project is industrial research and experimental development of new high-capacity nanosilicon anodes for Li-ion batteries with liquid and solid electrolytes for applications in the automotive industry and stationary electrical energy storage. The project will focus on: (i) R&D of technologies for the preparation of functional high-capacity anode materials with more than 20% Si content, (ii) R&D and characterization of these materials in Li-ion batteries, (iii) R&D of methods for optimizing stability-related parameters of the produced structures. The project's outcomes – functional samples and utility models – will significantly contribute to the development of battery production in the EU and to the promotion of collaboration between industry and research institutions.
