The special feature of this year’s meeting is to bring together organic, organometallic and coordination electrochemists and to discuss the combination of molecular electrochemistry with photoelectrochemistry and UV-vis/EPR spectrometric techniques with the stress on photo-redox catalysis, (green) electrosynthesis and the respective mechanisms.
The main themes of the 57th Heyrovský Discussion are:
- Understanding of Mechanisms of electrochemically initiated reactions of newly designed molecules
- Combination of electrochemistry, photochemistry and spectroscopy
- New electrosynthetic reactions + "green electrochemistry"
