International conference: Challenges on the Renewable Energy Storage
International conference „Challenges on the Renewable Energy Storage“
September, 1st- 4th 2024 at Castle Liblice
In joint organisation of the Fritz-Haber-Institut der Max-Planck-Gesellschaftand (FHI) and J. Heyrovsky
Institute of Physical Chemistry. Coordianted by the following organising committee:
Prof. Dr. Beatriz Roldán Cuenya, Prof. Dr. Petr Krtil and Dr. Katarzyna Skorupska
About the Conference
The development and deployment of a novel energy concept, addressing both environmental as well as energy-independence-concerns, is one of the biggest challenge of chemical industry in the 21st century. Catalytic processes represent a crucial field supporting the transition to this new energetic concept. However, their further development requires an inter-disciplinary approach.
With the aim of enabling this vital exchange of emerging expertise, the international conference “Challenges on renewable energy storage” was set up. Following last year´s first gathering of this kind the meeting will continue to bring together frontrunners of the fields catalysis and electrocatalysis, allowing them to exchange views on the most recent advancements, as well as to renew the necessary interdisciplinary networks.
